RON HOWARD – Managing Principal

Mr. Howard is currently the Managing Principal and President of Siena Wealth Management, Inc. an independent fee-only, registered investment advisor serving over 188 high net worth individuals and families. His focus is to help each client achieve their financial goals through proper investment design, retirement analysis, estate and tax planning. Providing peace of mind and perspective throughout the complete planning process and continuing with regular progress meetings.

Prior to Siena Wealth Management Ron was Executive Vice President and Director of Strategy at Loring Ward, an asset management firm with $6 Billion in assets under management. In addition to working with affluent clients, Ron has taken a lead role in developing the Personal CFO Forum which brings together some of the leading financial advisors from around the country to discuss wealth management, retirement and legacy strategies that can make a difference in their clients' lives.

He graduated from Brigham Young University with a concentration in finance and investment management. Following graduation, he founded his own financial planning firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ron has been active in the investment and financial services industry for over 30 years and has held senior management positions for over 20 years.

Ron has been invited to speak to many civic organizations, universities, professional groups and at national investment conferences, lecturing on modern portfolio theory, asset allocation, investments, taxation, financial planning and business development. In addition he has done postgraduate work at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Ron has written many articles on investments and financial planning and has made several television appearances.

He is married to Jennifer, who is very talented in her own right and keeps him grounded along with six children, two of which are still at home. Ron loves outdoor activities including hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, snow skiing, rollerblading, and scuba diving. He is active in his church and was the past scoutmaster for troop 709. He also was a past board member and currently serves on the Investment Committee for the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
